WE BELIEVE STRATEGIES SUCCEED
WHEN THEY ARE BUILT WITH, NOT FOR,
THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE

Our story

WHY SYSTEM 2

Our name comes from the work of psychologist Daniel Kahneman, who described two ways people make decisions: System 1, fast and instinctive, and System 2, deliberate and thoughtful. At System 2 Consulting, we bring that same spirit of thoughtful, long-term decision-making to our work with clients. We create space to see the bigger picture and move forward with purpose.

OUR APPROACH EMPHASIZES COLLABORATION, EVIDENCE AND PRACTICAL TOOLS.

By combining these, we help leaders and organizations align decisions with their values, respond to community needs, and create systems that are more responsive and resilient.

Collaboration — bringing diverse voices into the process.
Evidence — grounding decisions in research, data, and lived experience.
Practical Tools — using proven methods like OKRs, logic models, human-centred design, and social lab practices to move ideas into action.
